Friedrich Kröhnke, born 1956 in Darmstadt, lives after several years in German and european cities and journeys all over the world in Berlin. He published numerous novels, at last Nach Asmara! and Diebsgeschichte, his most famous books are Die Atterseekrankheit and Wie in schönen Filmen. Kröhnke is member of the PEN Centre Germany.
