Bettina Gärtner, born in 1962 in Frankfurt am Main, lives since 1969 in Vienna. She didn’t finish her studies in law and history, after that for a short time journalism, and then apprenticeship and work in art design and media. She started in 2008 to publish in literary journals, in 2015 her first novel Unter Schafen was released, in 2020 the novel Herrmann.
