Nava Ebrahimi

Nava Ebrahimi, born in Tehran in 1978, studied journalism and economics in Cologne and worked as an editor at the Financial Times Deutschland and the Kölner Stadtrevue. She was a finalist in the Open Mike and a participant in the Bavarian Academy of Writing. Nava Ebrahimi has received numerous awards, including the Austrian Book Prize in the debut category in 2017 and the Morgenstern Prize for Sixteen Words in 2019, the Rotahorn Prize in 2020 and the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2021. Her second novel Das Paradies meines Nachbarn was published in 2020. Nava Ebrahimi lives with her family in Graz.
